| Pharmacist:
|
| Mr.
A.J. Patel, MRPharmS |
|
|
| Dispensing: |
| We
can dispense both NHS and private prescriptions. We have a wide
range of medicines, including homoeopathetic remedies. |
|
| Patient
Medication Records: |
| When
we dispense your prescriptions, we keep a record of the items
dispensed. Once you are 'on record', you will be given a card
showing your reference number. When you bring your prescription
here, hand in this card and you will help us deal quickly with any
queries. Our records will tell us whether you may safely take a
medicine with other medicines you may be taking. All our labels
will automatically give you warnings about alcohol, drowsiness, driving,
etc. |
|
| Medicine
Containers: |
We
put all tablets and capsules in 'child resistant containers' unless you
ask us not to. This does not mean they are "child proof"
- nothing is!
KEEP ALL MEDICINES OUT OF CHILDREN'S SIGHT AND REACH.
To help the elderly or confused people take their medicines correctly,
we can recommend special containers marked with daily or weekly doses. |
|
| Medicine
Sales: |
| When
we are open there is always a pharmacist to give you advice on treating
minor illnesses. As well as a wide range of well known products,
we also make our 'own brand' medicines on the premises. We can
also make up medicines specially for you. We have a semi-private
area where you can speak in confidence to the pharmacist.
Ask your
pharmacist. You will be taking good advice. |
|
| Emergency
Supplies: |
| We
may be able to help you if you need a prescription medicine in an
emergency when it is impossible to get to your doctor. We can only
do this in genuine emergencies. And because it cannot be done
under the NHS, we have to charge. |
|
| Unwanted
